Safeguarding information (including Safeguarding and Online Safety Policies)
Our pupils' welfare is of paramount importance and schools within The Bridge Federation take the responsibility of safeguarding very seriously. All staff work hard to maintain an ethos where pupils feel secure and safe. Children can talk freely to any member of staff at our school if they are worried or concerned about something.
Safeguarding statement
If a parent/carer with a child at our Federation schools wishes to make a complaint or raise an allegation in relation to a safeguarding issue, please contact the Vice-chair of Governors,
Mrs Sinead Ormston. Email: sormston@thebridgefederation.org
If you are concerned about a child in East Sussex call the SPOA (Single Point Of Advice) on 01323 464222
If you think the child is in immediate danger, you should call the police.
Operation Encompass
To further support our pupils, and to be in a position to offer immediate support to them should they experience or witness domestic abuse, our schools have signed up to Operation Encompass - for more details please click on the link: https://www.operationencompass.org/
